These machines require no preparation other than adding cold water and letting it cool before dispensing it into cups. - 1-2 liter Fresh Full Cream Milk
- 6 cups Water
- 15-20 Seeds of green Cardamom plus
- 1-2 tsp. ground Cardamom
- 1-2 tsp. Bicarbonate of soda
- 6 tsp Green Tea Leaves or Kashmiri chai
- 6 tsp. ground pistachio/Almonds
- Salt to taste
- In a large pan with a heavy base, pour WaterWater. Bicarbonate of soda, salt, and green cardamom seeds should be added to the tea leaves.
- When it boils, reduce heat and simmer briskly for 4-5 minutes or until it reduces to 13 ounces.
- Add a few cups of cold WaterWater to the pot while it’s still boiling, or enough WaterWater to make four cups.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes at a simmer after bringing to a boil.
- After removing from the heat and straining, set aside.
- Cardamom powder should be added to the milk and boiled over low heat.
- Prepared tea water should be poured over the milk (Qahwa).
- Boil for 3–5 minutes on low heat, and add salt as required.
- Turn off the heat and pour the Tea into 6 cups.
- Now put one tablespoon of cream (or malai) and sprinkle one teaspoon of pistachio/almonds on top.
- Pink Tea is ready to serve
