Beef Biryani Recipe in urdu
Beef Biryani recipe in urdu is very popular all over the world, especially in Pakistan. This dish is made from beef and other ingredients usually include rice, yogurt and other dry fruits. Biryani is among the most common and traditional dishes of Pakistan as well.
The ingredients of beef recipe in urdu are also very typical and traditional as it is prepared in the same way that it is made in Pakistan. The main ingredients are beef, yogurt, coriander seeds, dried red chilies, mint and white pepper powder. Other ingredients that can be added are rice, dry fruits, dry formulae, dried mixed nuts and of course meat. Generally, this dish is prepared using beef that is tender cut, preferably low grade beef or rib roast.
Ingredients for beef Kofta:
- Beef mince: 1 kg
- Coriander powder 2 tbsp
- Onion: 2 large size chopped
- Roasted gram flour: ½ cup
- Green chili: 7 to 8
- Ginger: 1 ½ tbsp
- Garlic: 1 ½ tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 ½ tbsp
- Salt as required
- Garam masala powder 1 ½ tbsp
- Nutmeg powder: ¼ tbsp
- Mace powder: ¼ tbsp
- Nigella Seed: ½ tbsp
- Dried Fenugreek leaf: ½ tbsp
- Lemon: 1 in quantity
- Eggs: 2 or 3 in quantity
- Mint fresh 3 tbsp
- Fresh Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
Ingredients for Mutton Kofta Gravy:
- Oil: 1 cup
- Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
- Onion Paste: 1 or 2 medium size onion in paste form
- Lemon: 1 in Quantity
- Turmeric powder: ½ tbsp
- Ginger garlic Paste: 1.5 tbsp
- Tomato Paste: 2 tomatoes medium size in paste form
- Yoghurt 2 cups
- Red chili: 1 tbsp
- Salt: add to taste
- Garam masala: 1 tbsp
Take fresh beef mince and grind it in grinder with the given ingredients for making koftas.
Add onion, green chili, ginger, garlic, red chili, salt, garam masala, roasted grams, coriander, nutmeg, mace powder, nigella seed, fenugreek, lemon, eggs and grind it very well.
Now take approximately 1 ½ tbsp. of mince in damp hands and make kofta balls with this material.
Heat the oil and fry these koftas in preheated oil for 1 to 2 mins.
Gravy Preparation for kofta:
Take oil and add onion paste, ginger garlic paste and fry them until the water dries up.
When masala leaves the oil then add tomato paste yoghurt and given spices just like red chili, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder. Now fry them all on low flame 15 to 20 minutes..
Add 6 glasses of water in it and boil it.
Add fried koftas in the gravy and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes to cook.
Now turn off the flame and squeeze the lemon. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and green chillies
